LIMITED 1 YEAR WARRANTY AND INSTRUMENT INFORMATION

NOTE: Please contact PHRED instruments directly regarding all warranty claims.

PHRED instruments warrants that your new PHRED instruments guitar will be free from defects in materials and workmanship, under normal use and service conditions, for a period of one 1 year from the original date of purchase.

This warranty applies only to the original retail purchaser when the instrument is purchased as new from PHRED instruments or an Authorized PHRED instruments Dealer. This warranty is non transferable. Proof of purchase is required for all warranty service requests.

Instruments sold as Factory Seconds or B-Stock are covered for a period of thirty 30 days from the date of purchase, unless otherwise stated. Electronic components and guitar hardware are covered for a period of one 1 year from the date of purchase.

WARRANTY COVERAGE

If a PHRED instruments guitar is determined, after inspection, to have a defect in materials or workmanship within the warranty period, PHRED instruments will, at its sole discretion, repair the instrument or replace it with the same or most similar model, not to exceed the original purchase price.

This limited warranty covers labor and materials for repairs approved by PHRED instruments within the warranty period.

In the event that an instrument is lost, damaged, or destroyed while in the possession of PHRED instruments during approved warranty service, PHRED instruments will replace the instrument with one of the same or most similar style, not to exceed the original purchase price. The owner is responsible for maintaining appropriate insurance coverage, including any collector or market value.

PHRED instruments reserves the right to use materials and components currently available at the time of repair if original materials are no longer available.

LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS

This warranty does not cover:

  • Instruments that have been modified, altered, or repaired by unauthorized persons
  • Instruments not purchased from PHRED instruments or an Authorized PHRED instruments Dealer
  • Normal wear and tear, including fret wear, hardware wear, finish wear, checking, fading, or cosmetic aging
  • Initial setup, truss rod adjustments, string changes, or routine maintenance
  • Subjective characteristics, including tonal preference, feel, or cosmetic appearance
  • Electronic components or hardware after the one 1 year coverage period
  • Damage resulting from impact, accident, misuse, neglect, or improper handling
  • Damage caused by shipping or transportation
  • Freight charges to PHRED instruments or its dealers
  • Case damage or wear
  • Instruments stored or used in extreme or improper environmental conditions

Environmental and structural exclusions

Wood instruments are sensitive to temperature and humidity. This warranty does not cover cracks, separations, warping, glue joint movement, or other structural changes caused by or related to environmental factors including but not limited to humidity, dryness, temperature fluctuation, sun exposure, or moisture.

Finish checking, hairline cracks, or finish movement are considered cosmetic and are not covered unless directly associated with an approved structural repair.

SHIPPING AND SERVICE CONDITIONS

All warranty service requires prior Return Authorization. Instruments returned without authorization may be refused.

Shipping the instrument to PHRED instruments for inspection or service is the responsibility of the owner. Instruments must be fully insured for their replacement value and packaged to professional shipping standards. Damage resulting from improper packaging or insufficient insurance is not covered under this warranty.

Repaired instruments approved under warranty will be returned prepaid for freight and insurance.

Only PHRED instruments or its authorized service providers may perform warranty repairs. Unauthorized repair work will void this warranty.

PHRED instruments does not provide non warranty repair services. Repairs not covered under this warranty should be performed by a qualified professional at the owner’s expense.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

PHRED instruments assumes no liability for property damage, loss of income, loss of use, or other incidental or consequential damages related to product failure or service time.

This warranty is the only warranty provided by PHRED instruments and supersedes all other warranties, expressed or implied. Any implied warranties, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to one 1 year from the date of purchase. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on the duration of implied warranties, so these limitations may not apply.

HOW TO OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE

To initiate a warranty claim, contact PHRED instruments directly. A written description of the issue and proof of purchase will be required. After inspection, PHRED instruments will advise whether the issue is covered and outline the next steps.
